The Navajo Nation went into lockdown in 2020, and our organization could not quickly move to online fundraising because the Internet broadband service on the Navajo Reservation is slow and limited. Our virtual communication is new and, therefore, limited. As a result, our Mission and Vision were impacted. The Navajo Nation President lifted the pandemic restrictions in the fall of 2022.
