The organization started so that the Navajo Veterans, Surviving Spouses, and Gold Star mothers would have access to services, resources, and advocacy.
The Navajo Nation went into lockdown in 2020 and our organization could not quickl move to online fundraising because the Internet broadband service on the Navajo Reservation is slow and limited our virtual communication is new and, therefore, limited. As a result, our Mission and our Vision were impacted. The Navajo Nation President lifted the pandemic restrictions .in the fall of 2023.
